Our Strength
One of the products that we are most proud of are our tactile maps, which are different from those commonly found because of a Braille which is particularly pleasant to the touch.
This type of Braille is one of our international patents (patent n. 245480IT ).
It is a project that was developed thanks to the research of owner Massimo Treu and collaborator Luciano Marzi.
Following this study our company underwent a moment of radical change in its growth and development. Our production, which was initially regional, expanded to become national and international, earning recognition from the Italian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted for the work it has done.
In 2004 we released a second patent (patent n. 0000261308) for the production of photoluminescent signs and tactile maps for indicating exits in the event of a black-out.
This process of research and growth has led to Incisoria Vicentina now being the largest producer of Braille signs and tactile maps in the country.
1. TACTILE
Our Braille maps are made with the utmost attention to details. The product which we create is pleasant to the touch and the raised elements are not sharp, thus creating a soft text which can be used by all.
2. ANTI-GRAFFITI
The problem of tactile signs being vandalised is, unfortunately, rather common. That’s why a special protection is applied to our signs which makes them anti-graffiti. If the signs become soiled, this protection makes them easy to clean with a damp cloth thanks to its disintegrative effect. Come to one of our stores to test our products treated with MAC+.
3. NANOTECHNOLOGICAL
In 2020 with the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic, our company remained closed like many others and continued to conduct studies and look for news to offer to its customers! We have more than 100 years of history but we are curious and always try to keep up with the times.
Thanks to chemical studies and the use of nanotechnologies, we have gone on to create a super-performing product. We coat the tactile map with a titanium dioxide penetrating product. This gave us the opportunity to patent a unique product of its kind.
4. ANTIBACTERIAL
The surfaces of our Braille maps stay clean thanks to the application of a 100% antibacterial and antiviral product that eliminates the germs which come into contact with the surface.
We were the first in Italy to study such an application. Our Braille maps have 3 patents to their credit.
5. SELF-CLEANING
Thanks to the application of a special product, our tactile maps are self-cleaning. When it rains, the water rolls off the surface, taking with it dirt and organic residue.
